EX-Lagos State Governor Akinwumi Ambode Crushes Tinubu In Corruption Accusation, Claims His Greed Has Sunk Lagos

Former Lagos State Governor, Akinwumi Ambode has accused APC Presidential Bola Ahmed Tinubu of sinking Africa’s most influential city, Lagos, claiming that he, (Tinubu’s) through his greed and ceaseless craving for billions from the people’s resources in Lagos.

He continued that Tinubu’s life is full of deception and that he had left a rotten Lagos behind for him to repair when he left office, adding that all those good things as seen in Lagos today have been through his efforts and handwork.

He challenged boldly: “Tinubu should come out on National TV and tell Nigerians about one Project he started in Lagos, not even saying that he completed, one project he started talks more of completing them.

Ambode said he was removed as a governor because Tinubu wanted him to be paying N50Bn and $5m each month from Lagos revenue.

“I asked him where would I be getting the money from”, explaining further that he had been given the responsibility to fix Lagos and alleviate the life of the people and not his own (Tinubu’s) family to feed.

According to Ambode, Tinubu responded that he would hear from him in the next election.

Ambode said that the scenario created the foundation for his blackmail and eventual sack from the governorship seat through coordinated incitement and sabotage against my government in Lagos state, which culminated in the loss of the 2019 election.

“I closed down many Tinubu “Toll Gates” so that Lagosians can be free from paying too much Toll gate fees because everywhere was full of Tinubu Toll Gate.”

“Coming in you pay, going out you pay, it was much, I was fighting for Lagos people on a low key while trying not to let the public know what was going on”, he continued, adding: “For the records, Tinubu never started a single project in Lagos, not even half, if he said am lying, let him call me out on National TV and I will answer with my full self,”

Ambode said he decided to keep mute with all the lies Tiubu has been telling, but he thought Lagosians needs to hear the truth and vote wisely in the next election.

He said the construction of the foundation of the modern bus terminal in Oshodi Lagos was built by him, as he commenced, completed, and commissioned by him.

He mocked APC that the party had got no record of achievement in Lagos but only lied about his own project achievements, adding if Tinubu is given the seat of power in the Federal, he would fail the same way that he failed in Lagos state.
