Brazil Creates Orisa Anthem , Says It’s important during Isese Gatherings In Brazil
“Orisa Anthem should be made mandatory by Olorisas after national and state Anthems are played during Orisa gatherings in Brazil ” – Atayese Oodua , Chief Rafael Saragiotto says
The Yoruba traditional worshipers in Brazil , on the 25th November revealed and sang the newly created anthem for Ifa/Orisa religion . The initiative led by a prominent Yoruba traditionalist in Brazil was officially presented at the gatherings of Ifa/Orisa worshipers in the interior of Amphitheater , Saopaulo State Legislative House , Brazil .
The Anthem which was played In Yoruba language “ Awa yio se Oro Ile wa ooo…” meaning “ We will do the rituals of our Ancestors …” counted with the presence of respectable Isese traditionalists in Brazil. It celebrates the inclusion of Olorisas in the Order Of Chaplains ( Ordem de Capelães ) in Brazil
Created in Yoruba , the anthem , according to Olorisas ,shall always be played at the openings of most Isese conferences and programs in Brazil .
Attending to Ancestral News , the Atayese Oodua , Chief Rafael Saragiotto insists such attempt will further boost the acceptance of Orisa religion in Brazil , the Olorisa recited a bit of the Anthem in Yoruba language.
Also at the event was Bàbáláwò Daniel Adebayo Majaro , Ifa Priest Akinyale and several other important traditionalist in Brazil.
The anthem came up as part of the Capelães program scheduled at the legislative house in Saopaulo Brazil . It was played and replayed with chantings from Ifa and Orisa traditionalists at the event
