YORUBA NATION: Assassination, Suppression, Intimidation Won’t Stop Our Agitation, Media Presenters Tell Fulani Elite Cabal Who Has Hijacked Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari and his co-conspirators’ evil plan to dampen the spirit of the Yoruba Nation self-determination efforts through brutal killings, blackmail, coercion, intimidation, and suppression and repression as displayed recently through the attempted assassination of Chief Sunday Igboho and the maiming of eight people in his house would never deter the resolves of Yoruba people to pursue their self-rule vision.

Rather, the government’s callous action would fire up Yoruba’s zeal and fervor in the quest for their self-rule and retrieval of Yoruba dignity and destiny, according to the Media Presenters group, the force powering the agitation for the Yoruba self-determination. The strong and powerful group which is spread across the World has assured Yoruba people and noted the North elite cabal currently in charge of Nigeria.

The Self-Determination Media Broadcasters, (SDMB), in a communique after a week-long meeting which was summoned to re-assess, re-strategize, and mop-up all the effects of Chief Sunday Igboho attempted assassination on July 1, 2021, have assured Yoruba people across the World to get ready for a more brutal attack by the Nigerian government who have aligned with Tinubu faction of the race in Nigeria to subjugate and deplete the race in Nigeria.

According to the body, the brutal killings in Igboho’s Soka Junction house in Ibadan Oyo state and the declaration of Igboho as a wanted person is indicative of the North elites and their foreign conspirators to emphatically tell Yoruba race that it has been captured.

However, the body warned: ” Yoruba race would never be captured. Any attempt being made to conquer Southwest Nigeria and make it a full Fulani region would be resisted by the powerful Yorubas who continue to make good marks across the World.

The Media icons queried:” What gives the Nigeria Fulani government the impression that killing Igboho and his loyalists would stop the self-determination agitation?” Clamour for the Yoruba Nation started more than 30 years ago and the current effort to up the agitation and call the attention of the entire world to the doom facing Yoruba people in Nigeria commenced only more than one year ago and Igboho only surfaced to support the move. The self-determination for Yoruba Nation media group enjoined all Yorubas across the World to stand firm in the face of the ongoing brutal harassment of Yoruba people across Nigeria holding that brutal killings, coercion, intimidation, blackmail, and many other tactics being employed by the Buhari government would hit back at the government since it has refused to enter into dialogue but rather resorts to intimidation of Yoruba people. The body pointed to the Force Majeur initiative by the Nigeria Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self Determination which the government had treated with levity and contempt, and which has weakened the power of this government because the constitution under which it is operating is no longer a legal document for the nation and that the credibility of the nation itself is under a serious questioning being currently illegal.

The body said the current repressive action of Buhari government has opened the consciousness of the people and activating their minds as millions of Yorubas across the World has woken to the realities of over 100 years enslavement.

It added:”Our OMOLUABI spirit and hospitable nature had been misunderstood as weakness. We belived Nigeria had been real as a nation. But now, we are awake from the slumber to the reality of how Yoruba people had been put under slavery for over 100 years and subjected to backwardness, retrogressive slide and destruction of all facets of our existence as a people, now pushed back to ancient lifestyle mode”.

“Yorubas are no cowards, but a race with God-fearing spirit, putting a value on the life of every individual as having a right to good life, humanity, fair-dealing, and self-esteem, irrespective of race, creed, religion, and political dissents”

Our approach may appear to you as if we are weak, but the value we place on humanity has incapacitate our holding the bull by the horn. However, our eyes are more opened now to the reality of the plans to exterminate our race.

The organization reminded the government:” Sunday Igboho did not start the agitation for Yoruba self-determination. Igboho is only serving in his own department as an agent of change, resisting oppression and intimidation of his people. His activities only attracted the public interest when he went to protest the butchering of his kinsmen by Fulani herdsmen and imported mercenaries from across Africa. How does the government think killing him would stop the agitation drive when Igboho is only an individual making his own impact as a true Yoruba blooded?

As a peace-loving race, Yorubas in Nigeria had for over 100 years have demonstrated their kindness, generosity, love, care patriotism only to be rewarded with destruction, humiliation, contamination repression, and subjugation.

Our past heroes were well-meaning thinking that an alliance would help fasten development and greatness.
