The Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS) has called Nigerians to seek God’s divine intervention in the problems besieging the nation, saying that only  the Almighty God alone could give peace to the country and the world.

The Founder and Sole Spiritual Head of BCS, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, made the call during a Press Conference in Umuahia, Abia State capital, on Saturday, December 16, 2023. He encouraged Nigerians to be good citizens despite the socio-economic and political problems and insecurity ravaging the country and leave everything in the hands of God.

The Sustainer of the BCS noted that what was happening in the country was the will of God and requires that her political leaders should turn to God for solutions to the numerous ills plaguing the country.

“The challenges Nigeria is facing today, requires that the nation should turn to God for solution. The leadership of Nigeria should acknowledge the presence of God so that He would show them direction,” said Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, who was represented by the BCS Spokesman, Patriarch Christ Shepherd Amah Williams, during the Press Conference held at the BCS Bethel on Niger Road, Umuahia.

“It is the will of God that we experience what we are experiencing today. No matter the situation, we urge all Nigerians to be good citizens and leave everything in the hands of God,” he admonished.

The BCS Spiritual Head enjoined Nigeria’s political and other world leaders to practice his teachings of servant leadership, purity, love and fear of God, noting that peace was eluding the world because people have strayed from God.

“Today’s world is full of crimes and brutality and there is no peace in the world, even nature is not at peace with man. Natural disasters that take lives and destroy properties in unimaginable proportions have become a daily occurrence and man has refused to ask himself why are all these things happening. Immorality is at its peak, as man continues to hold unto sinful and godless nature. Satanism is the order of the day; many people worship God Almighty in vain because they teach false doctrines and the tradition of men.

“Some have introduced idle worshipping into the house of God. As was foretold, perilous times are already here, and some people have departed from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of the devil; speaking lies in hypocrisy and their conscience seared with a hot iron,” he observed, adding, “the only way out for man is to embrace the Brotherhood of Man and the Fatherhood of God as taught by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu.”

“Events happening in the world today have clearly shown that the sure path to prosperity and salvation of man lies in the core values and basic principles taught by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu,”  he stressed, explaining that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star was not a cult group, as perceived by many, but a religious body;  “an ideal instrument for mankind to regain her spiritual, moral and social freedom as people created to serve God’s purpose.”

“It (BCS) is a spiritual institution that transforms man from the state of imperfection to perfection through the teaching and practicing of the Word of God and takes man to the realization of the unadulterated wisdom and understanding of His being as an integral part of the divine,” he added.
