Gov Soludo is TF Communication’s Personality of the Decade

……LCCI, SON, LASU VC, FAE, SPECTRA others also bag awards

To commemorate its 10th year anniversary, TF Communications held a National Conference in Lagos on Tuesday, aside other activities which included the recognition of some Nigerians and organizations.

Among those recognized at the event , which had the theme “Jumpstarting The Renewed Hope Agenda from 2024:The First Three Priorities“ was the Governor of Anambra State –His Excellency Chukwuma Soludo- who was named TF Communication’s [TFC] PERSONALITY OF THE DECADE.

Some organizations and individuals also celebrated at the event included the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON), the Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University –Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, FAE limited and Spectra Industries limited among others.

Justifying the award to the Governor, the Chief Executive of TFC-Mr Babatola Adeyemi –was emphatic that it was a well- deserved recognition for the Governor whom he described as a man of integrity who would always stand by his convictions regardless of any opposition to the contrary, even by people for whom he has utmost respect.

Indeed, the letter announcing the Governor’s choice for the award clearly buttressed this. The letter stated inter-alia: “Your choice was informed by your assessed honesty, demonstrated sincerity of purpose in public office and your frank and dispassionate disposition to national issues”.

The letter added: “Your policies while you were the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria were brilliant, even as some of them were daring However, what none could fault was the fair assessment by stakeholders that you repositioned the Apex Bank through strategic policies and restructuring which not only transformed the Bank, but also translated into unprecedented stability “. The letter also stated” ‘Your bold advice during Covid 19, that the sit-at-home –order which prevailed at a time should be rescinded eventually turned out to be the best decision to be taken, despite popular opinion then that Nigerians should still be shut indoors”.

Aside the Governor, his Chief Press Secretary – Mr Osagie Christian Aburime was also recognized for “Outstanding Career Excellence”, just as the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) bagged awards for “Outstanding Passion for the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMES) and Nigeria” and “Commitment to Excellence and Consistent, Nationwide Public Awareness” respectively.

The LASU VC was celebrated as the “Outstanding Public Servant of the year” and Spectra Industries limited was recognized for “Resilience, Passion for Excellence and Abiding faith in Nigeria while FairMoney was also named the “Exceptional Microfinance Bank of the year”

Presenting the award to FAE for “ Resilience, Passion for Excellence and Abiding Faith in Nigeria”, the President, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry –Mr Gabriel Idahosa- described it as a deserved recognition for a woman who had demonstrated that family business could be very successful and sustainable with the right attitude and excellent leadership qualities. “We are very proud of her at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry”, Idahosa added.
