Insecurity: Gunmen Abduct UNICAL Director of SERVICOM

The Director of Servicom at the University of Calabar (Unical), Prof Patrick Egaga, has been abducted by gunmen.

The director of special education was abducted on Sunday night at his residence at the university staff quarters.
Eyewitness say the professor was whisked away through the river that overlooks the university’s staff quarters.
Police Public Relations Officer in Cross River State Police Command, SP Irene Ugbo confirmed the incident.
She said: “Though the family didn’t report the incident, we are working to secure his release”.
