The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) has been encouraged to focus attention on entrepreneurship by Shaikh Tajudeen Bello Adigun, the Chief Imam of Fuad Lababidi Central Mosque, who also doubles as the Chairman of the League of FCT Imams.

Shaikh Adigun made this call while he was being conducted round the construction site of shopping mall and estate at the national headquarters of the MSSN located in Gwarinmpa, Abuja.

Shaikh Tajudeen commended the effort of the current national leadership of the MSSN for taking the path of economic self-reliance and sustainability.

According to Shaikh Tajudeen, “the Muslim ummah needs entrepreneurship and heavy economic investments as solution to the problems confronting it today.

“There is need to teach Muslim Students skills that will enable them to be self-reliant to be able to help themselves and contribute to national growth.”

On his part, the national Ameer of the MSSN, Shehu Uthman Abubakar, expressed optimism that the shopping mall and estate construction embarked upon by his administration will ensure that the MSSN remains financially independent.

He added that financial independence of the MSSN has been the top priority of his administration.
