A landmark collaboration between Yoruba Nation and Biafra Nation has been announced by the two self-determination regions which occupy the Southern part of Nigeria. Both regions have announced to fight-off and resist the enslavement of their people by forces which have hijacked the entity called Nigeria.

A statement by representatives of both regions, which was read to international Press on Saturday night had expressed in clear terms the agonising treatment that Nigeria had met to the people of both Western and Eastern regions which occupy the Southern part of Nigeria.

Professor Banji Akintoye, representing a powerful team of both regions seeking for self-determination and in his short statement said; “In the name of God, the Almighty Creator and Ruler of all nations.  We the representatives of the Yoruba and the Biafran peoples today happily inform the world that we have resolved to collaborate in our struggles for the self-determination and sovereignty of our two Nations.

“Our two separate struggles are aimed at achieving two separate nation-states. One for the Yoruba people and the other for Biafrans”, adding that though, records abundantly have shown clearly that both self-determination nations have threaded different paths to achieve their self-determination goals.

He continued: “Our two struggles have been different and inexorably our two struggles will continue to operate along different but parallel lines, yet with humility before God, we recognize and acknowledge that our two struggles have the same purpose, which is the liberation of our two peoples and their separate nations from an enslavement in Nigeria.

Professor Akintoye further enumerated that the aims of both regions are to liberate their people from Nigeria’s poverty-generating directions and endless suffering, oppression, degradation, suppression and obvious marginalization, which for several years the actors have pursued with vigour, disenfranchising and dehumanising the people of both regions.

Akintoye explained that as the aim of both regions is for freedom of the people from gradual extermination and weaponised hunger, power supply and infrastructural disenfranchisement, it has become imperative that those people from both regions must be salvaged from impending extermination which gradually had taken place for years in gradual and effective machination of gradual ethnic cleansing.

“We will henceforth work together as two brotherly nations, seeking freedom, progress and prosperity for our people and we are confident that by doing this, we shall make each of our struggles stronger, and facilitate faster the attainment of our goals”, Akintoye further stressed.
