The efforts of some ex- Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) staff to get justice in the payment of their outstanding entitlements by the Federal  government since 2013 got a boost on 18th April 2024 when a judgement was delivered at the National Industrial Court in Ibadan on the no locus standing and no case submissions made by the agencies representing the Federal Government.

Delivering the judgement, the judge said that since they are not in the employment of the defunct PHCN anymore and are no longer members of any of the two in-house unions, as individuals, they have the right to seek redress in court.

Thus, the matter was adjourned to 30th May 2024 as the litigation continues.

Responding to the judgement, C.O.K. Iyanda Esq. said that it is a step in the right direction and urged all the members of the Resolute Group to continue to do the needful things, including seeking the face of God Almighty on the matter at all times.
