YORUBA NATION: First Generation Of Diaspora Vows To Defend Ancestral Root And Heritage If Yorubaland Is Attacked By Fulani Warriors

The World league of the movements of “Devotees of the traditions of the Yorùbá millennium, culture, traditions and religion in the diaspora” has warned the Nigerian government and its outside allies giving support for a planned overrunning of YORUBA land that in the event of any aggression, the league would put in every effort to defend the ancient legacies left behind by Yoruba Ancestors.
According to the league, Yorubaland is an iconic historical land and any attempt to cause bloodshed would resort to defilement which the league would resist and defend.
The league said the YORUBA Nation in the event of any defilement of the ancient legacies left behind by the forefathers would thoroughly defend the land as all Yorùbá people both at home and in the diaspora won’t tolerate any desecration of the spiritual potency.
The league communique was initiated by an Uruguay-based Chief Oloye Ifawuyi Orilana Odumola Sowunm. He holds many chieftaincy titles in Yorubaland. The communique was signed by about 40 Yoruba settlements and communities across the World including Brazil, Cuba, Uruguay, Paraguay, Venezuela, Haiti, Spain, and was issued in about four main languages including Portuguese, Spanish and English language.
The communique added that the league’s if taken to defend the land would be strongly supported by the laws in the UNESCO declaration on language, tradition, and culture, and Yorùbá as harboring some of the most intangible human heritage would act on the provisions of those laws as it protects the integrity and resourcefulness of the potency of Yoruba heritage and its spiritualism.
The communique declared:” Therefore, it is our strong conviction that if these ancient legacies are protected in a sacred way, it will go a long way to be of immense benefit to the generations that are yet unborn in Africa and in the diaspora at large. About 40 nations of the World where Yoruba people from the first generations of Diaspora are inhabited are signatories into the communique.
The league claimed that the commuminique was issued to exhibit the Yoruba First Generation Diaspora(YFGD) seriousness and genuine demonstration of their sincerity and solidarity with their roots and with Yorùbá people in general.
The communique has come in the light of emerging evidence that a ravaging war is building up in Yorubaland as a coalition of European and Elite Fulani indigenes have resolved to take over Yorubaland and aiming to exterminate the native Yorubas in a planned World worse catastrophe which may begin to unfold from the middle of this year.
Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy in the United States has repeatedly warned about a planned genocide on Nigerian Christians by the Fulani Islamist jihadists. He said the plan if executed would supersede the Nazi murder of Jews and the Rwanda massacre combined. AS a security expert, Mr. Gaffney knows what was in the plan and continues to appeal to the entire world, especially the Trump Government urging that the war should not be allowed to happen.
Gaffney, in 2018 called on the former US President, Donald Trump to summon a meeting of all World leaders and call on all stakeholders to this wicked plan to stop it. as it may create the worse human tragedies of all time such that may be worse than the old European war and the early-nineties tragedy in Rwanda and Burundi.
